Carsten Pieper I couldn't decide, which of the albums of this drummer / one-man band from Dortmund (hey, I work there :-) ) to buy, so I went for the full digital biography which is a real bargain!
As with nordic sky, this reminds me strongly of Bohren & der Club of Gore. Call it Dark Jazz, call it Postjazz, I call it great music to listen to and to calm your mind! Wonderful album to take the edge off the day... Favorite track: 4 for fear.

Steffen spielt Schlagzeug, Gitarren - akustisch und elektrisch - Piano, Bass sowie Trompete oder Sax. Ein Aufbruch-Album - es geht darum einen sehr entspannten, aber modernen Gesamtklang zu formen, wo alles - auch jeder kleinste Effekt - seine Berechtigung hat.
