Carsten Pieper The artists himself is speaking of"hiphop-postjazz tunes". One thing that this album reminds me strongly of is Marcus Miller produced Miles Davis. The album's sound is more modern than the 80s stylings of Tutu and the like and Thomas Steffen, of course, is no Miles, but nevertheless... Perhaps it's just his muted trumpet (which I like very much). Favorite track: hells kitchen.
